District Nurses

District Nurses provide nursing support for people in their homes when they are unable to travel to the Health Centre due to their medical conditions or significant frailty.  They also hold some dressings clinics at the health centre.

Community Midwives

Our Community Midwife holds an ante-natal clinic on Wednesdays at the Health Centre from 1pm by appointment. This is bookable via the Maternity Department at Furness General. Telephone: 01229 403838.

Health Visitors

Health Visitors provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of their children's mental, physical and social wellbeing.
