Repeat Prescriptions

We operate a repeat prescription system. There are two ways to order prescriptions.  Please note we do not routinely take medication requests over the phone.

• Order online with Patient Access
• Fill in your repeat prescriptions sheet and post it in the black box in the porch at the Health Centre (or in the letterbox if we are closed).  We can forward your prescription directly to a pharmacy of your choice - please let us know which pharmacy you would like to use. Alternatively you can collect your prescription from the practice, or we can post it to you - if you let us have a stamped addressed envelope.

Whichever method you choose please allow two working days for your request to be processed by the practice.  Remember the pharmacy will also require some additional time to get your prescription ready.  Your help with this is greatly appreciated.

Medication Reviews

Our GPs need to carry out medication reviews on at least an annual basis. When the time arrives for this to be done, it can take slightly longer to process your prescription request as the doctor needs to review all your medication before it is issued.  If you need to see or speak to the doctor a note will be made on your prescription sheet asking you to arrange this - please look out for this message.
